The Boldon's Parish Magazine contains adverts from local businesses and those further afield.  many business adverts do not give a phone number out. Perhaps they didnt have one at that time. Notice the  telephone numbers are four digit.

For Those who are unfamilier with South Boldon. Hamilton Terrace is a row of terraced houses in Dipe Lane, West Boldon. I wonder when the postal address of South Boldon vanished.
